Base Oil N70

Base Oil N70 is considered among the base oils of group two. The low viscosity, good antioxidant property, shear stability and anti-corrosion properties of this oil have made it a very economical option for the production of additive oils. Due to its characteristics, this product is used in the production of a wide range of oils. From hydraulic oils for power transmission to compressor oils for wind compressors and refrigerator compressors. After refining with solvent, this oil is purified by the hydrocracking process. Hydrocracking is a complex process that refines crude oil to convert it into oil. The resulting oil may not have the required specifications, so in order to reach the ideal state, the oil goes to the laboratories to add the necessary additives.

By examining the characteristics of this oil, it can be seen that this oil has the ability to transmit power and be fluid at low temperatures and has anti-wear properties. More specifically, this oil is used in air compressors, refrigerator compressors and machining devices such as CNC machines.
1- N70 oil in air compressorWind compressors are divided into three categories based on the mechanism of operation: rotary, screw and piston (reciprocating). In the following, we will examine the use of N70 oil in each of these compressors.(A) Rotary compressor:In rotary compressors, the high rotation of the rotor to compress the suction air causes the wear of the rotor itself and the surface of the housing. N70 oil is used to lubricate the bearings, shafts and prevent the wear of the rotor and the surface of the housing.(B) Screw compressors:Geared rotor shafts are used in these compressors. In this type of compressors, the air is continuously compressed; this makes the compressor no longer vibrate like a piston compressor. In this device, the oil plays a role in three stages: first, in the lubrication and prevention of wear between the rotors, bearings, and filters, the second, for the cooling of the compressed air by the rotors, which has a very high temperature Compressor capacity. A small hydraulic pump reduces or enlarges the air chamber by pumping oil, which can adjust the compressor capacity.C( piston compressors (Reciprocating):In these compressors, when the piston goes down, the outside air is sucked into the cylinder. After suction, the inlet valve is closed and the piston condenses the air. When the air has the highest density, the outlet valve is opened and the air is transferred out under pressure. N70 base oil in this system seals the pores and seams so that dense air does not escape from inside the cylinder. Also, with the oil flowing around the cylinder, the piston is cooled, which has a great effect on the efficiency of the device.
2- N70 oil in refrigerator compressorsRefrigerator compressors are mostly piston compressors that condense air. High temperature for a long period of time reduces efficiency. The oil in this system is responsible for reducing the temperature inside the compressor. It also reduces corrosion and rusting of internal oil components. Also, in the long term, dust may enter the compressor through the seams and cracks. Compressor oil prevents this by sealing the gaps.
3- N70 oil as a fluid for machining devicesMachining machines are used for cutting, shaping and changing the physical structure of metals. During cutting, the friction between the tip of the machine and the piece of metal is very high and generates heat. This problem makes the process of shaping and cutting not easy and the part does not get the desired shape. A lot of heat caused by friction causes a lot of damage to the device in the long run.

Lubricants consisting of highly refined mineral oils with specification additives. In normal conditions of use, this lubricant presents no particular toxic hazard. All lubricants, of any kind should be handled with great care, particularly avoiding can contact with the skin.

Prevent any splashing, and keep away from combustible materials. Store under cover and away from any risk of pollution. Dispose off the used oil correctly; don’t pour down drains, into watercourses or the soil.
